The cult film presented in conjunction with Visit Ely's Halloween Programme.

Police sergeant Neil Howie is called to an island village in search of a missing girl whom the locals claim never existed. Stranger still, however, are the rituals that take place there.

Starring Edward Woodward, Christopher Lee, Britt Ekland, and Diane Cilento. Our screening will be the "Final Cut" edition released in 2013 for the 40th Anniversary, and widely said to be the best version.

As part of Visit Ely's "Spooky Season 2025", you can make a scary night of it, and take a guided SPOOKY walking tour of Ely (1hr) and then watch the film with us at The Maltings.

If you wish to book in person, you can book for the tour+film at the Tourist Information Centre in Oliver Cromwell's House, or the film only at our own box office counter, open 45 minutes before every film at The Maltings. Unfortunately we can't sell the combined ticket at The Maltings.
