Andrew Scott is Captain James Stagg, a meteorologist who must persuade Brendan Fraser’s General Ike Eisenhower to delay D-Day because he has calculated a terrible weather forecast for the proposed date. Stagg must also convince Damien Lewis’s General Montgomery, who wants to launch the invasion as soon as possible, as well as the American meteorologists who do not believe there will be a storm.
