What Data Do We Collect

Ely Community Cinema CIC (“we”) need to collect the following personal data to provide our services:

• any personal details such as name and e-mail address that you provide to us when booking your tickets via our website www. elycommunitycinema.org.uk (“the website”) and/or in person, and which is necessary  to process your booking
• Ticketing and booking details
• information that you provide to us for the purpose of subscribing to our newsletter
• Preferences and responses to surveys
• Marketing consent and communication preferences
• Information to receive donations or funding, such as name and contact details, payment details
• Statistical data, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views and website navigation paths. This is  collected for the purpose of system administration and monitoring the website users’ browsing actions and patterns but does not identify any individual
• Any correspondence or feedback you provide when contacting us.

How we safeguard your data

Access to systems that hold personal data is restricted to our volunteers and staff who deal with data protection or undertake data protection training.

Should we introduce any passwords for our website, for instance if we introduce membership, you are responsible for keeping it confidential. Please do not share it with anyone.

Third-Party Services

When booking tickets via our website, we use Clover, a trusted payment platform process payments.

We also use trusted email marketing platform, to:

• Send newsletters and updates (if you've opted in)
• Distribute occasional surveys to gather feedback.

These third party providers will ask for and are only given the data necessary to perform their services and will act as independent data controllers.

The City of Ely Council uses CCTV at the Maltings and may record your image. CCTV will only be viewed when necessary (for example, to detect or prevent crime such as film piracy) and footage is stored for a limited period, after which the footage will be deleted in accordance with Data Protection Regulations.

We make no representations or warranties regarding how user data is stored or used on third-party servers.
