CEA Card

We are now able to accept CEA Cards on our website. For those of you who don't know about it, CEA Cards are the official UK Cinema Association scheme for those customers who need some extra assistance at the cinema. Essentially it is a plastic card with a reference number and an expiry date and entitles the holder to bring a carer or companion for free, while the card is valid. More details on the scheme at www.ceacard.co.uk

We have been accepting these at the in-person box office but now they can be used to book tickets in advance on our website (a customer has tested it for us and said it worked well).

We have added some instructions to the Accessibility page but it is reasonably simple, essentially when picking the two seats from the seating plan make one of them the standard “Adult/Senior/Child” and the second “Carer (With CEA Card)”. The basket will show the full price and booking fee for two seats at first, but click on “Apply Discount”, enter the CEA Card number, and the ticket price and booking fee for the CEA Card seat will be removed, and the total price updated. The card does have to be valid and not expired. CEA Card holders can book any seat they want, but if they use a wheelchair, they should book one of the seats on the flat section at the front and the loose chair can be removed to make way. The seating plan has been updated to mention this.
